Pregnancy during the third trimester can be quite a ride.
Being bigger all over, and experiencing some less-than-desired symptoms such as insomnia or frequent visits to the loo, it’s all getting real – baby’s coming soon!
Sharing some light hearted moments and thoughts that go through a pregnant mum’s head during her last trimester! Let me know if you can relate to them too :P
#1: “I.. can’t… reach… my… feet… can’t cut my toenails properly!”

#2: “My arms seem to have shorten – I can’t wash the dishes without an aching back. Should I rest my bump on the sink?”

#3: “Pretty sure I can still fit into that loose top…. Oh no, I can’t fit into anything without looking sloppy!”

#4: “I ate lesser than usual but my belly feels like it’s about to explode!”

#5: “Do I look fat??”

#6: “Was that Braxton Hicks, contraction pains or a muscle pull?? How do labour pains feel like, exactly, Dr Google?!”

#7: “I wonder if I’ll be able to lose all that weight….”

#8: “Shopping was my favourite pasttime, but now I’m not too sure if my aching back and calves can take it too…”

#9: “I’m gonna be late for work, AGAIN!”

#10: “Shaving my legs didn’t seem that difficult before. And the itch below my belly is getting to me. Can you help me see if there’s something there??”

#11: “Am I swaying too much? I feel like a penguin…….”

#12: “I’m too tired… can I have another cup of coffee? Is it safe?”

#13: “Excuse me, I need the loo again, for the third time this hour…”

#14: “I don’t want to wear those ugly comfortable shoes supposedly engineered for optimal support!”

#15: “My belly skin is itchy, my legs are itchy, and I’m perspiring as much as a cow…. don’t get me started about smelling like one too!”

#16: “I need to clean out the drawers, cupboards and make space in the house for our baby. Gotta sterilise the bottles too! Labels might come in handy to organise everything, right? And the hospital bag needs to be packed! Oh, should I bring the breastpumps or not??”

#17: “Honey, do you still love me now that I look like this? What if I don’t lose the extra kilos? Will you still love me?”
