August 1 – 7 is declared as World Breastfeeding Week, and for some countries such as the Philippines and the US, August is the Breastfeeding Awareness Month.
While the global initiative of the Big Latch On has simultaneously taken place on 1 Aug all over the world, Thomson Medical hopes local breastfeeding mums will come together at the national record-breaking Breastfeeding Challenge 2015!
Yours truly has been invited to the event on 29 August, and I’ll be there with Vera and the hubs! So, do come and say ‘HELLO’!
It will be our first time participating in a public breastfeeding event, and while we’ve since dropped pumps and nursing session, I’m seriously keeping my fingers crossed that Vera will be a-ok! with nursing under her cover and at a crowded event! Wish us luck!
In addition to the breastfeeding challenge and a massive sales of baby and mummy items, Rise & Shine Festival will be running a series of educational workshops, parenting seminars and more over 28 – 30 August 2015 too!
