Melissa Shoes X Jason Wu

Finally! This lovely baby has officially part of my growing collection of shoes (never enough!), in exactly the very colour the first time it appeared in ST Urban earlier this year. Who can resist those cute owlets too? :D

Hailing from Brazil, Melissa shoes are loved for their soft, comfy plastic material which makes walking a breeze with a charming clothing for our hardworking feet.
As galfriend, J, says “They are soooo comfortable and well worth the price!” Oh, and might I add, this lady’s got 4 pairs of Melissa shoes now. *turns green*

About Melissa X Jason Wu
Brazilian footwear brand Melissa has been around for three decades and hasn’t stopped innovating. The holder of an exclusive technology for injected thermoplastic, the brand has garnered recognition for their work with plastics and for reinventing trends. Since the ’80s, Melissa has invited well-respected designers to collaborate with them. For Spring 2012, that designer is the precocious, distinctive American designer Jason Wu. (Source: ShopBop.com)

Melissa has also collaborated with Vivienne Westwood, showcasing a collection of shoes including vibrant colours, just like her whimsical accessories with happy colours! Robinsons at Marina Bay Sands has a decent collection of all these, so VM fans, you know where to go! Polyvore offers sneaks at the Melissa X Vivienne Westwood shoe collection here.

Be one of the first to know of Melissa shoes launches in Singapore! Just one click away to happy feet!

20120709-143035.jpgGonna bring my new friends out for some fun soon! At S$160 (Robinsons at Marina Bay Sands), these are ever so precious! Keeping fingers and toes crossed that the feet take to these shoes like fish to water. If so, here’s a would-be convert in the making! Survive the road test!!

Do you own Melissa shoes too? Which are your fave designs? We wanna know!
